Rules and Regulations

In order to spend pleasant moments at the performances, galas and events organized by the Romanian National Opera Iasi (ONRI), all viewers must comply with these regulations. By purchasing a ticket to the performances, galas and events organized by the Romanian National Opera Iasi, the spectator confirms that he has been informed about the content of this regulation, which he is to comply with.

  1. PURCHASE OF ENTRY TICKETS

1.1 Entry tickets can be purchased through the online ticketing system on the ONRI website, www.operaiasi.ro or from the ticket agency of ONRI.

1.2 Each spectator has the right to purchase a maximum of 8 (eight) tickets / show.

1.3 The ticket can only be changed or returned in exceptional cases (cancellation of performances, change of distribution, change of date or time at which the show was originally scheduled).

1.4 In case of return of the ticket, the reimbursement of the ticket price is made on the basis of a written request, addressed to the management of the institution, which will decide if the request is justified, related to the reasons invoked. A copy of the applicant’s identity card and ticket will be attached to the request. Applications will be submitted to the ONRI Ticket Agency or sent to the e-mail address office@operaiasi.ro. If the application is accepted, ONRI will return within 10 working days the value of the purchased tickets or, with the spectator’s consent, will offer tickets with the same value at another show.

1.5 Failure to watch a show due to non-appearance at the time indicated on the ticket does not entitle the viewer to a refund of the cost of the ticket or to its use at a later performance.

1.6 Entry ticket price reduction categories:

1.6.1 Scholars and students benefit from a 50% discount on the ticket price, only for the Balcony seats – category F and G, within the available seats.

1.6.2 Seniors benefit from a 50% reduction in the price of entrance tickets only for the seats on the ground floor of the hall – category D, within the available seats.

1.6.3 Persons with disabilities and holders of special cards, issued in accordance with Romanian laws in force, have free access.

1.7 The Romanian National Opera Iași reserves the right to allow the purchase of a limited number of tickets for a single show, purchased by a single person.

  1. ACCESS TO THE PERFORMANCE HALL

2.1 The shows start at the time mentioned on the ticket, so please arrive at the venue of the show at least 10 minutes in advance.

2.2 Public access to the hall is allowed at least 30 minutes before the start of the show.

2.3 Public access to the hall is no longer allowed after the start of the show. For the comfort of the artists and all the spectators, those who arrive after the start time of the performance will be able to take their seats in the hall at the first break.

2.4 In the case mentioned in art.2.3, the spectators are not entitled to the partial / total refund of the ticket or to its use at a future performance.

2.5 For the comfort of all spectators and artists, access to the performance hall of children under the age of 7 is not allowed. This age limit may vary for certain shows, the spectators will be informed on this aspect through the mentions inserted in the poster of the show or in the related informative materials. During the show, the children will not be held in the arms of other people, but will take their place on the ticket.

2.6 The Romanian National Opera Iași has the right to restrict the access to the show of the holder of counterfeit tickets and to notify the competent law enforcement bodies.

2.7 The Romanian National Opera Iași reserves the right to request the departure of the performance hall from spectators who disturb the performance by any means.

  1. WARDROBE

3.1 For the comfort of you and the other spectators, the clothes and bulky items will be left in the wardrobes and will be retrieved on departure. The wardrobes are located in the Theater Foyer.

3.2 Please do not leave valuables in the care of room staff. The Romanian National Opera Iași does not assume responsibility for these.

  1. CONDUCT OF SPECTATORS

4.1 For the purpose of maintaining cleanliness and for the proper conduct of the performance, the consumption of food or drink in the performance hall is prohibited. They can only be consumed in the foyers, during the breaks of the shows

4.2 Spectators must stop the operation of mobile phones or set them to silent mode before the start of the performance.

4.3 It is forbidden for spectators to use mobile phones or other electronic devices during the show, as the light emitted by their screens distracts the attention of other spectators or artists.

4.4 For reasons of copyright and the desire to maintain optimal conditions for the performance of performances, photography or audio-video recording of performances (including using mobile phones) is strictly prohibited.

  1. VISITING THE PERFORMANCE HALL AND TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS

5.1 Visiting the auditorium and foyer is possible outside of rehearsal or performance periods, by prior appointment and after paying a visit fee, for groups of at least 10 people. The request for a visit is made in writing and submitted to the general secretariat of ONRI, at least 3 days before the requested date and in case of its approval, the visit is carried out in an organized manner, within a guided tour.

5.2 It is possible to take photographs in the performance hall and foyer anytime, other than the rehearsal or performance periods, by prior appointment and after the payment of a fee. The request is to be made in writing and submitted to the general secretariat of ONRI, at least 3 prior the requested date and in case of its approval, the photo session will be carried out under the supervision of ONRI staff.
